Course Syllabus

  1. TITLE OF COURSE: - CS1603 - Microcomputer Software Suites
  2. COURSE DESCRIPTION: Three credit hours lecture. This course is designed to provide the student with an overview of microcomputer applications in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. The students will be challenged to create and integrate the applications of Microsoft Office. This course will utilize the projects approach to learning. Prerequisite: OT 1113 Basic Keyboarding or equivalent. For each unit of credit, a minimum of three hours per week with one of the hours for class and two hours for studying/preparation outside of class is expected.
